After School Rec Club

This after school rec program provides an inclusive, positive, and safe environment where “kids can be kids”. Join leader John for supervised organized games, outdoor adventures, and indoor fun, all while enjoying the parks, trails, and playgrounds around the Lighthouse Community Center. Recommended for kids ages 5-11.

Tuesdays are for Teens

  • Date & Time: Tuesdays 6 - 7:30pm. May 14 - June 18

Come on out to the Lighthouse Hall to enjoy a Teen only hang out. In this program, John Titanic hosts an inclusive, positive, and safe environment for teens to socialize and have fun. John will provide engaged activities, support free time, and keep things fun utilizing our sports equipment, audio visual gear, and games.

Home Alone Program

  • Price: $30

The Home Alone Program is designed to provide children 10 years of age and older with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone for short periods of time. It will help them understand how to prevent problems, handle real-life situations, and keep them safe and constructively occupied.

Babysitting Course

  • Date & Time: Fall 2024
  • Location: Lighthouse Community Hall
  • Price: $60

The Babysitters Training Course is one of Canada Safety Council’s longest running programs. The course is an ideal community project, which can help prevent injuries and promote the responsible management of common situations that may arise while children are under the care of babysitters.
